Also do you think this will mark the end of his career behind the wheel as a NHRA Driver?

I mean, since retirement from Driver duties seemed imminent, will injuries sustained yesterday definitely put this horrific accident as John's last run?

He has plenty of other ways besides driving to help his team, so I imagine he will let someone else drive from here on in. At his age it will take quite a while to recover from his injuries. He has lots of energy and a very positive attitude, but 58 year old men do not bounce back so quickly from serious injuries.

Well I am not sure, I can say from the injuries he obtained in the accident his year is finished. They put pins in is ankle so this will take awhile to heel. If you look at the accident real close you can see that John is lucky to even have his legs. You can see his legs just dangling there when the car plits into two parts. The car should not break at that point. Pause the video clip just after the front half sperates and you will see he is lucky to have his legs at all. I heard from someone that a skin graph was needed for his knee. I believe both legs were broken and his whist was dislocated.

I don't believe that this accident will keep John Force from racing again. His legs are not broken, just his ankle and some of his fingers. He does have a bad abrasion that goes to the bone below his knee and his wrist was severely dislocated. He will be back.

I heard an interview with Force's director of operations (or something) on Wind Tunnel last night. He said that he could not imagine John not racing again. His words where, 'what would he do?'. I thought that was pretty good.

John is tough and will pull through. I don't think we have seen that last of him. That crash was nasty though.

I heard he broke an ankle, a wrist, and had severe abrasions on his knee and his fingers.
I think he's done.
