Depends on how close you are. I don't get my mum and dad anything (though that might be a man thing) but my wife always gets her parents a card and a bunch of flowers. Her brother and sisters don't get anything though.

I always get my parents anniversary gifts. What about a card with a gift certificate to a favourite restaurant? I don't think it needs to be anything major. It also depends on how close you are and what your family dynamic is like. A card alone is fine if you don't want to buy a gift.

Definitely a gift-giving occasion if it marks a major year (first, 5th, 10th, etc).

Underage children can just give a card or make a nice gesture to the parents (wash the cars, breakfast preparation, something nice!)

If you are severely strapped for money and the parents know it, a card is all right, given with the understanding that you'd have lavished them with gifts if you'd had the cash.

If there is a formal get-together, unless they specifically say "no gifts" you should take something, like perhaps something for their home, a gift card for a night out at a restaurant, a good bottle of wine if that is their thing.. If it's not a get-together, you should still send a very nice card.

I think a card is appropriate for a parent's anniversary, unless it's a big one, like 25 or 50.

I agree with the first answer. It depends on how close you are to them. I would get them a small gift and a card though. Hope this helps.

If you have a special gift to give, give it. Don't go out and purchase something just to have something there. Card definitely.

there are various presents you are able to pick on your mum and dad for his or her wedding ceremony anniversary. i think of the main perfect present could be to present them with a present voucher from the Magistic Cruises or Sydney Showboat. they could experience the magnificent thing appropriate to the Harbour and luxuriate in an extravagant lunch or dinner. final 12 months i proficient my mum and dad with a present voucher from the Magistic Dinner Cruises. The view of the Sydney Harbour at nighttime is easily superb and the buffet they serve is freshly arranged on board. My mum and dad had a good looking time and hopes to have fun their anniversaries constantly on the cruise.

if it is a big one, say 25 years then a gift is appropriate, but i guess it depends on the relationship
