they said that they received my 1040X but they can't complete it until I send them my W2C. how long will it take for them to process it so I can get my refund?
sent my 1040X on July 16th 2007
IRS received it on August 29th but I didnt' get their letter until Sept. 1st.
sent my W2C on September 4th 2007

They didn't process your amended return without the required attached W2C. So figure you filed your amendment on 9/4/07. Six to eight weeks would be a good estimate for you to receive your refund.
