The only person I have heard shunning iranians or iraquis is you. I think more English people are likely to shun pakistanis as a result of the London bombs.

Easier in some ways.....
More difficult in other ways.....
The Middle East used to have a feeling that America was the Bastian of justice and equality and many youth idolized the USA.
After 9/11 the viciousness of the Iraq and Afghan invasions along with the torture and lack of value of human life displayed by the troops shattered that Hollywood impression.

Well, generally speaking, they have attacked us.... They danced in the streets when innocent people were killed...
They have a desire to murder at will anyone that is not submitting to them.
I can't imagine why Americans especially do not like them. We hope that by spreading freedom in a nation that has not really known it. They will become more tolerant of others.
If you don't accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, how many Christians chop off the heads of sinners? Nada.
We hope the Iraqis and Afghanis will change and they will choose a better path to attempt to live amongst the other people in the world.

The irony of 9-11 is that it brought more suffering upon the Middle East than it did on the United States.

I wouldn't go as far as to say the tragety has made it hard for them. I would say that it has made it harder for people from the middle east to immigrate to the US. Also anyone of that race is generally looked at as the enemy by the American public but for the most part they really don't get much more than dirty looks and whispering ridicules.

No.
I think that the minority of extremists that have committed atrocities in the name of their religion have made it difficult.
Because of the way their society is geared, the average person cannot go against the 'Jihad' against the infidels.
The West sees that as condoning the killings and bombing.
Nobody can tell an extremist from a regular person so they are all 'lumped' together in one pot. Tarred with the same brush you might say.

What is happening is what the terrorists of 9/11 wanted. However, they thought we would be out of Iraq by now and they could walk in and take over Iraq. They honestly believe they won a war against Russia. They honestly believe they won a war against Israel. And now they think they can win a war against America. Ahmadinejad and Arafat are identical twins. Their words are lies and the truth is not in them.

Of course it has. There was quite a bit of bias against Arabs and Muslims before 9/11, and 9/11 just made it that much worse.

Its obviously made it very hard on Middle-Eastern people who happen to be living in Iraq. Of course, their problems go a good bit beyond being shunned...
