Not so bad for an eternal being to go through a few days of pain.
Compared to eternity, 3 days is nothing, therefore it was painless.

The word god was created by humans, like the meaning itself. If there were no humans there wouldn't be a god, nor crosses. It's all in our own little imaginary world that exists only inside our head. Actual reality is far more vast and powerful than our little minds can interpret.

Since Christ was both true God and true man, I believe the pain would be the same as if it were you or I. However, I often wonder if Christ's suffering numbed out over time as ours would or if his divine nature and the fact His act paid the price for all sins of all time means that he felt everything from start to finish with full intensity.

Ask Tammuz or Mithra. Why a god would sacrafice himself to himself in order to convince himself to change a rule he made makes no sense to me.

One that is so highly advanced could not feel such physical pain.A Mastery at this stage in its evolution can over come any pain at all as it is only a illusion.

Each one of us has to go through a crucifixtion.....symbolic. The casting off of the ego, in order to see from a new perspective.

Death to the old way of living, thinking and behaving, enables us to look to the new way.

How is it considered a sacrafice when jesus was god and knew he would just be going home? He would not really die?
