Pagan is such a broad term applied to any none Aramaic, Judaic, or Islamic religion. So obviously there are many different Paths with in Paganism and each have their own code of ethics. Not everyone, for example, will follow the Wiccan Reed the Druid Code or the Nine Noble Virtues of Heathenism. It all depends on your Path. The one thing that seems to ring true for most- not all- Pagans though is "Do no harm, or if you must, no more than is necessary". Anyway I hope that helps.
Blessed Be!

There is no Pagan Way. Pagans are a collection of people of diverse religious and ethical beliefs. There is no unified code. When someone says some is not acting like a true Pagan, it's basically just a self-possessed way of saying the offender isn't acting in a manner approved of by the speaker.

No there is not a pagan code. It's people speaking their opinion as fact instead as their opinion. The whole reason to being pagan, at least to me, is not having to live by any "code" or by somebody elses version of personal truth. The point of view of paganism will vary from person to person all the time. For some it's simply about self fulfillment for others it's about fulfillment for self as well as their family or loved ones. Take from this from what you will. Bright Blessings to you and yours!

No, there is no specific code. (Not all Pagans are Wiccans, etc.)
But generally we recognize the laws of the land, as well as a personal moral philosophy. If a person is immature, reckless or harmful to others, we would probably consider them to be a bit un-Pagan. (Or, to be more precise, not aware enough of the things around them or wise enough to be a particularly experienced Pagan.)
Since Paganism requires quite a bit of individuality and careful consideration, I would be wary of a person claiming to follow a Pagan path who did not have a good moral compass. Whether or not they are Pagan, they would still be immature and stupid. :D

No there isn't.
We are all HUMAN. We live by codes of conduct for the human race.
The Rede is WICCAN. Good rule to live by none the less, but not all of us use it or even know it.
Every trad has thier own set of "rules" and morals to live by. They have different concentrations. But no we don't have a big Book of Pagan Rules anywhere.
edit: We always say "Ask the same question to ten pagans and you'll get eleven different answers." LOL We are well aware of our diversity.

There are many different traditions and paths in the pagan way. For myself, i do not necessarily consider myself Wicca, but do try to abide by the rede. An harm ye none, do what ye will.
I think that we all try to walk a peaceful, respectful nonjudgmental path. Seeking to practice love and tolerance. Showing not only respect for all life, but for nature and the condition of the earth as well. We all have been blessed with gifts and abilities and it is our responsibility to use those in a positive way to help ourselves and others. Basically, i think, we as a group try to adhere to "live and let live".
But again, i am by far, not an authority of others. I can only speak for myself and a select few who i have had the honor and the privilege of meeting and knowing. To thine own self be true.
just my humble pagan thoughts.....
i hope you find what it is you seek.

There is no unified Pagan code.
And, speaking as a Wiccan, with as many young Wiccans who get the rede wrong as there are, if it was a Pagan belief, we'd be totally screwed.

the rede does not apply to all pagans by any stretch of the word. But many pagans tend to believe in the concept that creating negative energy brings negative energy back to them--though personally i'm inclined to believe that whatever energy used becomes neutral when it rejoins the universal energy so i'm not one of them. I behave in a kind manner because others are kind to me--and if they are not kind to me I may or may not continue to be kind. Anyway, there is no set manner that a pagan would behave because there are so very many kinds of pagans that wouldn't be possible.

There are hundreds of different Pagan belief systems some over which overlap. Pagan means "rural dweller" or one who doesn't practice Christianity, Judaism or Islam.
Some examples would be wicca, druidry, shamanism, animism.

Not all Pagans are the same. Hindus , Shintos , Buddhists , Zoroastricans , and many others are all Pagans.
Of course , the make-believe " Pagans" are something different .
