when im trying to play warcraft, my screen just turn black it seems like turned off. but, the power is on and the LED in the buttons of my monitor starts to blink. But, when i closed warcraft everything goes back to normal.. help..i think the problem is on my video settings.. anyway i need help.. help!!!

my video card is NVIDIA GeForce 6100 256MB
i think it can handle warcraft:frozen throne (DotA)

do you know how can i change the resolution of the game w/o opening the game/??

Download the current Driver for your Video Adapter.
What do you have by the way?

You might want to check the side of the box or research the minimal system requirements for the game. If the screen is going black, that means your video card cant handle what your playing. One thing I would do is definately think about investing in a better video card, but try lowering the resolution of the game just a notch and see if that helps. If the game stays active longer but still goes out, chances are good you need a better video card.

Warcraft might be set up to use a video mode that isn't supported by your monitor. Try changing the video settings...what Warcraft game are you trying to play?
