A middle aged man I know goes to visit his grandfather in the convalescent home .. he noticed a sign on his door that says "Family does laundry" ... he asked what that meant, and grandfather told him that his daughter does his laundry.

He thinks that the grandfather should receive a discount for his stay at the home since he is not using that service.

So, now, he's been sneaking in his clothes and putting them to be washed by the convalescent home, and once they are ready, he sneaks them out, nice and clean.

What is wrong with this man? He has his own washer and dryer at home.

He sounds just plain lazy and miserable with his money to me,but surely the home must find out what he up to soon. After all they will start to wonder why they are washing and ironing clothes the gran father never wears and might ask the middle age man to reimburse them for doing it.

Some people just enjoy getting one over. It sounds like this guy is one of those people. He should probably be reported to the managers of the place. His behavior is utterly reprehensible and actually fraudulent.
