is it possible to look up a mug shot ?

ok im looking for a mug shot from a guy i know who was arested a few weeks back in the uk. Is it possible to look it up online ? please help

Images taken in police custody (the 'mug shots') are not generally released to the public.
If it makes it into the newspapers, then there is a chance you could find it online - probably best using google and searching for their name and maybe what they were charged with (e.g. possession).
