Yes, a woman can become a Rabbi. Read the following link for a history of women in the rabbinate. There are other links there for further detailed history.
Shalom

edit to note that both the answers immediately above and below are incorrect about no Orthodox women rabbis, though a great many Orthodox do not accept women in the rabbinate, there are a very vew Orthodox women rabbis. For example, Eveline Goodman-Thau was ordained in October 2000 in Jerusalem by Rabbi Jonathan Chipman as an Orthodox rabbi.

reform and reconstructionist Jews accept women rabbis. Orthodoxy does not accept female Rabbi's- you may be able to get the education but not the position. Conservative movement, last I recall, did approve it, (withing the last year or so?) but I've yet to meet one.
I told my husband a few years ago that if I'd been a man, I would have pursued the rabbinate, and that if we affiliate other than what we are, I could. He shot me down pretty quickly. His viewpoints are very traditionally orthodox.
I examine everything. (drives him nuts!)

Yes, at least in Reform Synagogues, they can. My shull's rabbi is a woman, and she has been a rabbi for at least the last 15 years.

Anyone can sin any sin they want. IF a woman want to deny the bible and become a Rabbi or preacher its without God's blessing. But who need to check with God first? We are much smarter than he is aren't we?

Not in the Orthodox branches, but they can in other branches. Gays and lesbians are also included in the liberal branches.
