All of our pets have been named for food (muffin, taffy, butterfinger and cookie dough). We already have a black cat named licorice and just got a new black kitten, but can't think of another food name. Any ideas?

How about Anise?

That's a licorice-flavored liquer, although I suppose this is a better name for a female than a male.

corn puff, tar tar, molasses, coffee, currant, raisin, there aren't many foods that are black in color, most are deep brown or purple, I was once told that black cats are not really black but a very deep brown color. snickers, they have a dark chocolate snickers, hersheys special dark, or hershey, tea, oreo, pepper,. prune? oh here's a good one, since dark chocolate appears black why not call him "D.C." it stands for dark chocolate, but there was a movie about a cat whose name was D.C. the d.c. stood for DARN CAT the name of the movie was That Darn Cat. rent it, its funny.

It would help if we knew if the kitten was male or female. And are you looking for another food name or not?
