They're going the same place Christians go ... to their graves, where their bodies will rot. Lights out. The end.
Christians, though, in their endless zeal to judge, will eagerly condemn them to hell, even though it's their God's job to judge, not theirs. Because of their Christ-like love and compassion, they look forward to the day when they can look down and see the evil atheists burning in hell.
But they'll pray for you.

No as long as you live a life that is moral and not sinful you will go to purgatory/limbo then to heaven

Yes there will be a special heaven for all atheists!
It's called HELL!
One day when they have to meet God face to face they'll find out they were wrong all these years. Sad but true.
Cap'n: I think you have mistaken the majority of Christians willingness to judge unbelievers: The Bible tells specifically on how to get into Heaven, and how you must be when you face God. If you deny Him on earth He will deny you when you die and face Him. it isn't us judging, we are just trying to explain to everyone the way to get to Heaven and the consequences you will face if you continue living as an unbeliever. When I tell someone they are headed to hell if they don't change their ways I am not judging them, I am telling them a fact and I am WARNING them--just as I would warn someone that they will get run over if they step out onto a freeway. God judges, not us. We just try to 'warn' people.
I don't judge anyone, and I do pray for everyone, especially the nonbelievers.
