I'm a Muslim, you figure my answer out.
But I'm afraid of the extremists who think they follow Islam but fooling themselves so badly.

People fear what they don't understand. they judge to quickly and keep that judgement. I am not afraid of islam because i know that not all of you are like the extremists. i respect and accept your religion. another reason why people are scared of islam is because they always see the extremists on the news and they think either consciously or unconsciously that all people following that religion is like that. I believe that extremists are using religion as a cover-up for their quest for power and that's just sad

No. I'm no more afraid of Islam than I am of any of religion. Religions, in themselves, are just things. To say I'm afraid of a religion would be to say I'm afraid of a flower or of the dvd player. Its the followers that are another matter.

No, do some research about it, and you'll find it is really a very peaceful religion, and it does NOT deserve the reputation it has at the moment. There is absolutely nothing to be afraid of.

Only from the viewpoint that it is another religion that teaches people to accept their belief and teachings without thinking.
