I'm sure you'll find some old"wives tales" about some "cure". Before antibiotics staph had no trouble killing people. Look at figures from history. A cut, a scratch, even a insect bite turning into a killing sepsis.Seriously, staph is nothing to mess with. Use antibiotics to treat it.

I know a woman who got a staph infection during a knee replacement. Long story short, she was off work for a year. Had months of I.V. antibiotics, had the replacement knee removed, and more I.V. antibiotics.

Staph is serious. Get medication if needed. Get to Dr. if you don't know what you have. It can spread to others.

Take care of yourself now.

There is a special group of antibiotics, from which your Physician will select to treat you with. If you have sensitivities to other antibiotics, the new selection worked real well for me, and I had no problem with it. Yes it is very important that it is treated, and do get to your physician ASAP. They also do urine and blood cultures, if necessary in the future, in order that you will be safe and infection free. Best wishes, and God bless you

Staph can get serious quickly. I have never heard of any other treatment besides antibiotics. If you wait too long, you'll wind up in the hospital with I.V. antibiotics. Don't wait to get treated on this one please.
