Just think about the effect of what you will do.
The effect to yourself, the effect to other people and the effect of environment.
When the effect is good then God will love you.

My opinion is it always goes wrong and makes the person look worse than before. I think it looks OK for a short time and then the person starts to resemble an alien. As far as mistakes, no idea, but it's not uncommon for mistakes to happen.

You are human. You have morals. You have values. Do they fall within the guidelines of common sense? Will what you want to do hurt some one else mentally or physically?
You are so vague in your question. Since you are so God conscious... turn to the back of your bible and you will find answers to what you seek by using a keyword from the real question you are trying to ask.
Example: love, death, neighbor, mother, father, life, friend, enemy etc.

I like your question, because you're asking what the people don't know, what is actually right and what's actually wrong.
Just because you think you know what's right, that doesn't guarantee that you recognize what's right.
That's one of the reason there's so much suffering going on, because people don't know for certain which is actually which.
As I asked a woman. If a young child walked in front of a bus would that be right or wrong? She said wrong. My reply was, are you certain, because what's wrong to you may actually be good to God.
With you it's wrong, but with God it's right. How could that be? Because you're guessing, but God knows. If it's time for that child to go to heaven, then the child would have to die first If you saved that child front getting killed by the bus, then you prevented that child from going to heaven.
People are confused about what's actually right or wrong because they don't know for certain the purpose for certain things to happen.
If a preacher preaches and convinced others that Jesus Christ is actually God's son, Is that right or wrong? It's wrong to lie. Jesus Christ isn't actually God's son. Since the preacher doesn't know that, then he'll be lying to people when he tells that he is.
It's hard to tell for certain when you don't know for certain.
By the way, Jesus Christ is actually the father himself, not his son as many falsely preaches.
Jesus Christ was God himself. The bible clearly warns that the mediator isn't going to be God himself.

1. Pray... Hard and sincere
2. Consult your conscience
3. if that doesn't work consult the bible... check if it goes against the 10 commandments or if its along side the 7 deadly sins
4.if that still doesn't work consult your pastor/priest
Remember that even if someone else has done something worse than you have, doing something wrong, however small it may compare to others' wrong doings, is still wrorng so don't compare your sins or would-be-sins to other's because a sin is a suin however small it may seem.
PS. it would help if we knew what you were planning to do in the 1st place...

1) Pray earnestly, fervently for three days....GOD almost always grants wisdom to those who sincerly ask....and quite frankly, your question sounds like it has not been written by someone who has a very active prayer life "not at peace with GOD"
2) Seek the counsel of trusted pastors, elders, youth group or other leaders at your church; that's one reason why we are here - to help each other!
3) When in doubt, the odds are good it is WRONG....your conscience debating the morality of this action is a good sign that GOD is at work in your heart already.
GOD Luck!

Seek God through prayer, and His word. God sent the Holy Spirit here so guide us as well. If you are saved the Holy Spirit will lead you in the paths that God would have for you.

Read the Bible. The Bible is the answer to of man's problems even those problems that does not yet manifest in this earth. Any source of truth that claims to predict the future other than the Holy Bible is untrustworthy. Theres only one book which contains all of the answers in life's problem. The Bible answers all of the mysteries, all human ills, all human petetions, all human quandaries and perflexities, all solutions physically, materially, legally, illegally, materially, immaterially, morally, immorally, carnally and spiritually. In the infinite counsels of God, He and He only, who knows the end from the beginning.

First of all, if you are speaking of a specific situation, then you need to sit down and pray. Ask God what you should do. In general, give it the bible test. Does it follow what you have learned in the bible? I'd like to suggest getting yourself in a bible study. Bible Study Fellowship is an excellent one. It is non-denominational and you are not even allowed to talk about denominations. They have kids up to high school Sr. programs but a parent has to go with you. After that, you are in the adult program. Look it up on the web. Then you will learn more about what is in the bible and not worry so about making decisions, because you will learn about God and what he desires. ok?

Think sensibly about it.
Consider what you personally believe other people would think of it. Consider whether you personally would benefit or lose out from it, and then whether others would benefit or lose out from it.
Go with what benefits the most people, harms the least, or is generally most socially acceptable..... and you'll probably be on roughly the right track.
