At this time Knoxville is bigger with more opportunity. A few years from now, Chattanooga is planning on a passenger rail link to and from Atlanta making the opportunities here (Chatt) endless. Both are nice cities, I'm fond of Chattanooga because it has a little more laid back atmosphere. Still hasn't sunk in on us that we are a "big city" ; )

the two cities are growing to be. on an identical time as Chattanooga may well be including a splash extra city citizens, Knoxville is including extra suburban citizens. A tension with the aid of the two cities would be in Knoxville benefit. Knoxville has extra of a skyline with taller homes, and progression on my own I-40 and -seventy 5 is extra substantial than Chattanooga. Knoxville with the aid of some distance is a school city, on an identical time as Chattanooga is extra a tourist city. Chattanooga might additionally be extra multiracial than Knoxville, that helps this is growth.

As nice as the Smokies are, I'd pick Chattanooga. There is SO much to do there- it's a fun place and beautiful as well. You'd be close enough to Atlanta for real "big city" stuff. I live outside Nashville, which I love most of all, but Chattanooga is a great place!

I love both cities, but I believe you will find more opportunities in Knoxville, which is a larger city than Chatanooga. I would also choose Knoxville due to its proximity to the Smoky Mountains.
