According to Islam nobody knows the exact date only God knows --but its believed to be on Friday on the first month of Islamic lunar calender -which also gonna be on Eid day
but the exact time and year is unkown.
Christianity don't have the exact date --but alot of churches made fool of themselves predicting on different dates that have already passed.
According to the Jews the end of days will occur at or before the year 2240 (the year 6000 in the Hebrew calendar
Hinduism believe it will end on 2036
The astronomically-based Mayan calendar will be completing its first great cycle of approximately 5,200 years on the 21 December 2012.
Inconclusion the World is coming to an end --don't take it for granted when the sun shines every morning from the East. take everyday as a gift and spend your time wisely.

Nobody or nothing could ever make such a prediction. Besides you say specifically "world". It is doubtful the Earth will ever disappear. After all, all you have to do is look at Mars. Mars is planet with no life yet the planet continues.
It is possible for life to come to an end. We have proof of that. But, still no date could be set. However, if a giant asteroid is gonna impact Earth, you'll have time to witness the end of life.

No-one really knows. It'll happen when the Sun runs out of fuel and goes supernova. An estimate of 4 billion years from now is ringing a bell, but someone may know better. I feel pretty confident in saying that it won't affect any of us personally.
Thats; if we allow the Earth to last that long and don't destroy it beforehand.

Whenever the most powerful crazy religious nuts decide that they've waited to too long and bring about the end times themselves. It' may sound crazy but is probably not far from the truth. Any nutjob could spew a date but it doesn't mean anything, especially from a religious person.
Remember if you go looking for answers in religions you just won't find any.
