Yes, too many people have got an unecessary hard time from the law for something which is no more harmful than many other socially sanctioned bad habits (prescription drugs, alcohol )

I don't smoke and I never have, nor do I condone the use of marijuana. It's not about whether or not the government can make a lot of money. If tobacco hadn't been around for hundreds of years and people started doing it within the last 40-50 years, do you really think that the government would have legalized it? No, because it isn't healthy, just like smoking marijuana.

Yes, i really do.
Everyone knows that so many people have done pot.
Sure, there will be arguments against it.
But there are people against smoking and drinking.
I know they sell 'herbs' in shops.
To underage people too, it's just so ridiculous
that all of this is still illegal.
what ISN'T illegal these days anyway?
You download a song - illegal.
You have a harmless beer at 16 - illegal.
the list goes on.

The reason weed isn't legal is because the government can't make a profit off of it.

why do people need pot anyway? is it impossible for anyone to be naturally high?..
smoking pot is like... drinking an energy drink to an extreme - you have extra energy, but its not natural - so it has nasty side effects in the long run..
just my two points :)

For me: It doesnt matter one way or the other, because I do what I do regardless.
For others who need it for medicinal purposes: Of course. A few joints is nowhere near as harmful as synthetic fda approved drugs with 343290493248 side effects.

sell it at the court house, let smokers register, tax it, think of the revenue it would produce!, then we would know who could work at jobs that require you to be clean, that would be a good trade off, you wouldn't have to worry about being busted, you just couldn't have a higher paying job, or at least your employer would be informed that you smoke....

What is more important to me, is that justice should see the difference between a user and a dealer.
