I see people on here, and out in the real world, proclaiming (not neccessarily from a religious aspect) that, with the way the world is going, it will soon end.
Who here believes we're heading towards some cataclysmic finale, and who believes that people have been saying the world will end tomorrow for the last 20,000 years and that all of them have said, 'we've never had it worse than it is at the moment,'.
Is there ever likely to be an Armageddon, spiritual, economic, enviormental or otherwise?
Thanks!

The human race has almost peaked I would say. As in all things in nature.. Nature itself attempts to bring things into balance.
(I am not making some mystical claim that nature is a deity, simply describing the mechanisms that we can observe.
It is fairly clear (even if you don't care) that our use of technology has allowed us to grow in number artificially. The same technology is actually polluting the balance and damaging the habitats and evolution of many species.
It would seem along this path we will either destroy the planet in the sense it will be unhitable to us or alternatively some act of nature will cause our extinction before that. For example an Ice age, natural disasters on a biblical scale etc. Regardless of this it would be very hard to imagine a complete end of the world... Life would continue and new species would evolve.
What I am saying it is inevitable one way or another.. fighting it is as rundant as trying to beat the sea back from a beach. All we can do is to choose to respect our position in the macroorganism that is our planet or to choose to ignore it and carry on regardless.
If you want to discuss things like the dead walking the earth etc... well perhaps thats something our superior technology may yet achieve.. without the need for divine intervention. Personally. All I can say about that is the sons of bitches aren't aking me down without a fight.

Yes, it is going to happen.
There's so many signs of when. All of those signs have past, except for one more event to happen. that is in the making now. It's not the wars that you see, for those are one of the signs that's already happening. The one event to happen, which it is a long process is happening right in front of people's eyes but they are unaware of it. It is scheduled to take many years to complete, once that process completes, then it'll be time. The clue to how long that'll take is in the story of Noah.
People are in for a shock. When people do realize that it is happening, then it's going to be fast and unexpected to the people.
I know.

Just scream "Hallelujah". One day maybe. All the humans who live with such sins will have 666 stamped on their forehead. My teacher said that story one time.
