I was due to start my period 6 days ago, however I started last night with alot of pain but no blood. Then today I just have a very low flow.
No where near as heavy as usual. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for about 3 months and just want to know if that has anything to do with it. What do you think?

Maybe the stress of trying has thrown your cycle out of sync. Your body reacts to stress in different ways and for a woman her periods are often one of the first things affected.

It's possible to have what resembles a period, all be it much lighter, shortly after conceiving a baby. This happens at the stage known as 'implantation' and may involve some mild aches and pains. However, if this bleeding has been accompanied by severe pain it's more likely to be a normal period which is inexplicably lighter this time or even an 'early loss'. Your best bet would be to buy a pregnancy test or make an appt to see your GP. Hope all goes well. Let us know how you get on.
Good luck.

Could be an early pregnancy ending spontaneously. This is much more common than people think and the body will often get rid of a conception which is not progressing as it should. I hope I haven't upset you. This might not be the case at all.

The only way to know for sure is to see your doctor for further evaluation but sometimes over time our periods can change to become lighter or heavier as well. Stress can also affect the period to make it lighter.
