I think the PJ will have his card marked and will have added him to the list of liars.
Just heard that the PJ are hell bent on trying to gather proof that the Mc's killed Maddy and disposed of her body. They are convinced they killed her but are still gathering evidence, but as a last resort if all fails then they will charge them with child neglect which carries up to 10 years in jail under Portuguese law. Also the media is reportedly sick of the Mc Spin machine led by C Mitchell and they will soon start unbiased reporting. A couple of papers are already doing this today.

There are contradictory versions about the night of the kidnapping, and an assumed pact of silence in the group: “We have a pact. This is our matter only. It is nobody else’s business”, says David Payne". ... the night of the disappearance and the account of that last dinner has disparate versions among the group’s members. Some swear that someone left the table every half hour to check on the kids; other reduce that time to half of it. Some say control is made window by window; others say the adults entered each other’s apartments. One of the employees that was on duty that evening does not remember a lot of movement: “I only remember a tall, grey-haired man getting up once from the table”. It was Russell, who, two days earlier, also had attended dinner. Russell, when the questions start to surround him, loses his sympathy: “I have nothing further to tell you. I am not going to dishonor the compromise I assumed with Kate and Gerry. They want to control all infornation that is disclosed”. Gerry changes his version several times, but he maintains that the door to his children’s room was open. Mat revokes his first statement: when he entered Madeleine’s room, the door was open and there was more light, as if the shutters had been raised. Here starts to develop the theory that there was already someone inside the apartment. Which reinforces Jane Tanner’s version (that she saw a man carrying a child). Only Jane saw the man carrying a child.

Wow, yet ANOTHER piece of very important evidence that, until now, had been forgotten by this group of highly-paid well-educated medical personnel?
Personally, I wouldn't believe anything the Tapas 9 come out with now, even if they said the sky was blue I would doubt their honesty. The amount of times that they've "forgotten" information, only to remember it when their stories are looking shaky is phenomenal.
Remind me not to have any of the Doctors that were there treat me or any person that I love. They'd probably put them on the operating table, wander away for four months and then remember what they were supposed to have been doing.
FFS, If you're going to lie, at least stick to it.

Yeah, right! As if! How convenient for them. And why has this come up now? Has he been hiding under a rock for the last few months?
I wonder how much that cost the McCanns?
Whats the going rate for bribery now a days?
Have a nice day.

Seems the children were in the creche in the morning and then had lunch with their parents. They returned to the creche for the afternoon and had tea with their mum, don't know about dad. then they were put to bed while their parents went out for the evening.
Anyone who changes their story is normally considered an unreliable witness.

I said this before and I will say it again. The best thing the McCanns can do for themselves is tell their friends to shut up. Their friends and their remembering things is making them look even more guilty.

Has it occurred to you, Trancebabe, that the McCanns & their friends (including, the Tanners & David Payne) may have been instructed by investigating officials to plant red herrings as an attempt to outwit the abductor???
The media, unwittingly laps up all data as scoops with no thought to the truth or context behind, resulting in the unsuspecting public being fed...um...red herrings for breakfast, lunch & dinner...
That explains why it is only NOW that we hear that Gerry McCann believed the abductor was hiding in the room when he went to check on his Madeleine. Surely, if he had proclaimed from day 2 that he believed that the abductor was in the room it would have given the abductor insights to the investigation. Ditto for David Payne...he could have well be instructed by the PJ not to divulge such details till later on.
BTW, that the evil scum hasn't been yet nailed yet should NOT discredit the investigating methods used at that time.
It also explains why Jane Tanner kept changing her story.
Apart from the shock, disbelief, confusion, grieft & utter lack of knowledge as to how to react in such a situation, which are the reasons normally why witnesses make lots of inconsistent observations, i do believe that planting red herrings as an attempt to hide info privvy to the investigation explains a lot of the inconsistencies...that have been misinterpretated as indications of the McCanns/ their friends' guilt.
