I'm a student and a bit short of cash, someone told me donation was a good way to make extra cash. Anyone know who it works, and what you earn?

Research it on the internet. You no longer have the right of anonymity if you make sperm donations. Your offspring would have the right to track you down once they turn 18.

Could you handle that in the future? You may make a bit of money now, but the cost in the future could be way more than you expect.

Sperm is much easier to donate than an egg is. All you have to do is spill in a cup if you're male. For a woman there is actually some surgery involved. Plus women only have a limited number of eggs while men can continuously produce sperm.

It depends on the country where you are. I
t is very dangerous to donate sperm for cash in some countries as your sperm could be used for money ritual and you may become hopeless in future.

In civilised countries, you can only donate sperm for small cash on request from a female or a couple for a concrete reason subject to your going through and passing rigorous tests.

As a student, I would advise you to look for menial jobs to do for cash instead of advertising your sperm for sale!

If you are in the UK, you can only make a certain amount of donations. I think it's 5. You only get paid around £20.

You will have to go through vigorous checks and now any child you produce can legally look to find you.

They only really accept men who want to make a difference to someone elses life, not some looking for a quick handout.

Personally speaking I wouldn't even consider it. As from April 2005 onwards, the clinic will have explained that identifying information about you can be given to people conceived from your donation when they reach the age of 18. In most cases, this will be from 2023 onwards (unless you decide to re-register as an identifiable donor).

A donor-conceived person can ask for the following identifying information about you, as well as the non-identifying information you will also have given:

The donor’s name (and their name at birth, if different)
Date and place of donor’s birth
Last known address (or their address recorded at the time of registration)

So you could have kids banging at your door in the future, and then there is the question of child maintenance from the pregnant mother, she will have all your information.

It is your on concept of moral values. If you want unknown children around the world you can do it.It gives good remuneration for the donor.Sperm donation makes possible some unknown persons to have a child. The legal issues are not clear.Sperm donation is stll 'secret" business now.

I have done this on one ocassion.. I dont think ill ever do it again though =\.

It was easy and all, and I felt good that I was potentially helping a couple that needed it, but I drove past a park a few year later near the clinic and was like.. omg.. anyone of them could be MY kid.

If you can live with that weirdness, then go for it ^_^

A few students are doing this, there are various agencies, both in the uk and abroad, who foster this practice. But, do not get involved in beta trials of new ,untested drugs,it,s a hell of a risk,as recent events have proved.Good luck with your future ejaculations, may you earn lots ,if you can stand the pace.

It will help your finances now but due to the new laws in the future the person who you donated to can legally claim child support. I would not recommend it.
