Hi All

Can you please help me,
I am 23 weeks pregnant and keep getting Pins and Needles in my foot!
I have no swelling of the ankles which I know normally causes this - any ideas?

Thanks x

Pins and needles are caused by a restriction in blood circulation. The causes are usually down to a lack of movement or having your arms / legs in awkward positions thus reducing the blood pressure to the hands and feet. The solution is to walk around regularly and when sat in a chair, raise your legs so they are almost horizontal to your body.

i as well am 23 wks (congrats by the way) and have the exact same thing.. although i think mine are slightly swollen.. more so at night.. but all of the books and newsletters and everything say that its circulation because the uterus is starting to obstruct the return flow of blood from the legs.. hope this helps.. :D
