This is a tad bit personal but just want to know whether its cause for concern or normal...
basically i stopped taking the pill and got the normal period and havent had one since (it would be about 3 months since last one - which ive been told is normal) Last night i had to go do a number 2 and when wiping myself I saw blood so figured I had started my period and put a pad on. since then i had a shower and went to bed expecting to have my period but upon waking up there was nothing. The light was pretty bad. The number 2 was because of constipation. IF for some reason I am right and saw blood, what does it mean? if it isnt my period? I am about 60% sure it was blood but may have been seeing things, i didn't really analyse it!!

Any ideas on cause or what i should do? since then i havent experienced anything "red"

Thanks heaps for your answers

Do you know where the blood was from? If it was from your vagina then it sounds like spotting but I don't know the cause but it's most likely got something to do with coming off the pill. But if you think it might have been from your anus then it could be a number of things like a fissue or tear caused by a hard stool, or things like haemorrhoids or even worse things, better see a doc just to check? Eat fruit and vegetables (like prunes) and drink water so you don't get constipated.

The blood would of been from your bum because you have had constipation and obviouslyyour pooh would of been harder and bigger than normal. Now i have never experienced this none bleeding after coming off the pill so if its normal why not?does this mean im not normal.good luck eat more fruit and veg to stop you becomming constipated again.

Being constipated can cause hemorrhoids to occur (I have one I'm still dealing with) and sometimes they can cause bleeding as well. I would recommend having this checked out by your doctor though to see what they think is going on.

It's very possible you had a bleeding hemorrhoid from the difficult stool. You might want to increase your water intake to help prevent that in future, and increase fibre intake . . . Best of luck . . .
