I like both. My best friend is Melissa and her SIL is Nadine! I think Melissa is a bit more common than Nadine and I like the other form of Nadine, being Nadia.
I would probably go with Nadine ( or personally Nadia). Nice to see such nice 'normal' names for a change!
Best of luck

Without knowing more details of the rest of the name, I prefer Nadine. I grew up with a ton of Melissa's, so am tired of the name. Nadine has more of a "classic" sound to it, to me.

What about using Melissa Nadine as first and middle names?
If I had to chose one name, though, I'd chose Melissa.

I think that Mellissa is a pretty name. not a fan of Nadine but just need to consider which name goes best with your last name and middle name. Also consider what the possible names that the child could be called for nicknames and if they would get picked on due to initials etc.

I'm not crazy about those names, if I had to pick one it would be Nadine. Best of luck to you.

Both are good, depending on middle and last name. Melissa is still rather high on the trendy list, so that might be something to keep in mind.
