Let's call this a rhetorical question so we don't insult anyone...

RipHimToShreds: A point I considered when asking this question.
Dead Marxist: You get at least an honorable mention. :-)
Gabriela: I'm sorry you've been hurt by people here. It was actually only last night when I saw someone's random comment that it even occurred to me that posters could be plastered. Explains several instances, I'm sure. :-)

Hahaha, yes you make a valid point. Alcohol has a way of loosening the tounge (in this case, the fingers on the keyboard)

I have made the mistake of Posting While Intoxicated (PWI?), only to wake up to an inbox full of Violation Notices!

Considering some of the insults, racial slurs and character assasination attempts that I have received from people who don't know who I am or what I am or any part of my biography, yes,I would say that your question is definitely in line.
I have to(want to) believe that some of the garbage written by people can only be attributed to a ¨bad trip¨or a monumental hang-over. I would hate to think that it was indicative of their normal brain (non) function.
So why don't we all try not to be abusing some substance when we get on Q&A.
That being said, there are a lot more polite, normal and thoughtful answerers and askers than those who aren't,which is why we keep returning, right?

Answerers must use proper words and moral language in replying to comments in this forum so that there will be no insults. Be sober so that respect will be accorded.

i would say that depends on whether or not you feel it is in your best interest to answer questions sober.

as far as i can tell, many have put a great deal of thought into this question and decided that it wouldn't be prudent at this juncture.

Yahoo is a community service and it is better if decent and considered opinions and answers are entered. Sober answers are most welcome
