it should'nt be an issue,i mean you don't date someone depending on thier wages/education level,it depends on how you feel about the person,i mean you could get someone who is poor but decent,or you could get someone who is rich but a jerk,if you like the person alot then you should take the good with the bad.

I would say not necessarily education level but intelligence does matter. You need to be able to have an intelligent conversation with you partner or at least be equivalently matched.
Income level is important to the extent that they can support themselves. If they don't make enough money to support themselves then you may have to support them eventually.
Now this is just my opinion, I am sure others will have differing ones.

Dating only?Yes & No...when younger it mattered less to me,then priorities crept in as I aged,so yes it matters to me now,not so much income level,just that he has one period,& education wise reading & writing are important as well as passing a driving test..=)
