Really depends on entire name. If last name is Strauss, do you really want him to go through life as Levi W. Strauss?

Also, think of how other kids later will react to his name. What slang terms rhyme with Levi? Can Winston be worked into a school-yard poem?

Personally, I like Winston L. Sounds regal. But then, it won't be me trying to comfort him when he comes home crying because the other kids call him "Levi Jeans" all day long.

Winston Levi rolls off the tongue more easily than Levi Winston. Ultimately, it depends on which name is more important to you or what you want to call the child on a daily basis. How the two names go together isn't very important on a daily basis because you're unlikely to use both names at once... unless you're Southern and use two names all the time :-)

Levi Winston sounds better and much more in keeping with this day and age. I love the name Levi! Winston would also be starting a middle name tradition. My husband is
xxxxx Matthew, so our son has Matthew as the middle name and hopefully his son will one day too (if he has one!)

best of luck

I love the name Levi, so I would put it first. It's also a name in my family way back. Winston I'm not the hugest fan, but, in keeping with tradition, I can understand. Congrats.
