i HATE rap, hip-hop, and so-called r&b. but guess what? i at least gave it some chances before drawing my own conclusions.

Amen! I am not the fondest of ceertain types of music and yet I will still give it a go...Johnny Cash for example, I hate country, but Johnny Cash helped the rock genre loads, and the Beastie Boys I love, but cant stand some of the newer hip hop out now...like what you like, but at least keep ur mind open to other things and not give blanket judgements....

I agree Happy, I gave all types of music a chance and settled primarily with Metal and Punk, with a little trendy music thrown in there....similar with religion....my sis is a *gasp* Jehovahs Witness, and I went to her church before I made fun of her.....

Now I can do it without a guilty conscience...
