I am looking for a golf vacation in Southern California with my family. Is there any good hotel with a child care that has a golf course in or near the hotel? I searched on the internet but couldn't find any.

The two nicest courses in San Diego County are Four Seasons Aviara which arranges childcare with 24 hour notice http://www.fourseasons.com/aviara/for_younger_guests.html

and Torrey Pines Golf Course adjacent to the Lodge at Torrey Pines, which I'm guessing can also help out with childcare as they offer several services for kids...kid size bathrobes, lincoln logs and etchasketches. Call hotel to double check this with the concierge http://www.lodgetorreypines.com/?OVRAW=the%20lodge%20at%20torrey%20pines%20hotel&OVKEY=the%20lodge%20at%20torrey%20pine%20la%20jolla&OVMTC=advanced&OVADID=4810979511&OVKWID=19914695011

I'd also check the Rancho Bernardo Inn which is huge, fabulous, and has it's own golf course...I'm betting their concierge knows of childcare resources too. http://www.ranchobernardoinn.com/home.html

Maybe your best bet would be the La Costa Resort which has a well known golf course and has extensive activities for kids that you can leave them there as long as you stay on the resort grounds (which would have to include the golf course, right?) http://www.lacosta.com/activities/kidtopia.asp

I would assume that most golf courses have hotels within driving distance. You should reverse your search. Pick the golf course first, and then look for the hotel. If you call the hotel in advance, they will tell you where the nearest child care is.
