I bought hannah tickets for my daughter pre-sale. I have seen tickets for sale on eBay and craigslist for 10 times plus the price! It isn't fair to the mothers and daughters who really want to see the concert. How can it be legal for those greedy scalpers to buy out all of the tickets for face value and sell them for such a high price? How can it be legal even for the entertainers or the venues to not receive a cut? It doesn't make sense. I hope that no one is stupid enough to pay $500 per ticket from them. I hope I see them all begging for someone to buy their tickets at the door for half of what they bought them for. Because the fact is, after the concert is over, the tickets are worth absolutely nothing.

If you want my opinion if everyone who buys tickets off of scalpers didn't buy any for a few events and they got stuck holding them all with no one to buy them then they would get the message.

I would agree on most parts. What if it turns out your daughter wont be able to go? Than shouldn't you be able to sell them? I think after it's sold out and people are stuck with tickets they don't want anymore than the market dictates the price. However I do agree that there should be somethng in place against people who by lots of tickets just for the purpose of selling them at a higher price. Just would be a pretty tough law to enforce. I personnaly would not scalp tickets but I would buy from a scalper if I really wanted to attend an event.

I think it's one of those laws that would be unenforceable. Yuo just can't stop people from paying ridiculously inflated prices for tickets if they're really desperate for them.
