I know that Hp has very good service and support system in place in India, and service centers in most major cities, which I think is very important when buying any brand of computer. I have a couple of laptops, one is an Hp and is about two years old and have had no trouble with it, but as you can see from all the questions here on Yahoo Answers, no computer brand is 100% reliable. Good luck.

I know u'll not satisfy with all the above answers.I'll try to sort ur problem.Ur budget is upto Rs 30,000. U'll get laptops of HCL & acer in this range. u can buy acer aspire 5573 NWXMI which cost u around Rs 32,000 bt this laptop is nt latest it becomes now outdated,if u find that's good.latest acer laptops of pentium dual core processors start at Rs 34000.I mean to say upto the range of Rs 30,000.It's difficult to get dual core processor ,bt u can purchase HCL laptops model no. AXP 2109 T2080 cost around Rs 31,999 .it is latest & also u can take model no. P1907 Rs 29,990 both these are latest HCL laptops & both are core duo processors. If u bit increase ur budget upto Rs 35,000 then u can get Latest aspire series of acer laptops like 4710Z,4520 both of these are new.

Ugh, laptops, just go to Best Buy or something. It doesn't matter because all laptops are trash.
