If your after herbs i would find a mild euphoric, many people will suggest mild sedatives but i think euphorics are better, as they contribute to being happy not just masking things by sedating.
Damiana and Lions tail both have mild euphoric properties and can be made into a tea quite easily.
Also, i would try to get to the root cause of the issue, try to not get nerves after not-too-much irritation would be my primary goal, the short term medicine would definately be mysecondary goal.
You may have a negative diet or lifestyle factor contributing to your nerves.
You could look at your diet and see if it is too acidic or alkaline.
Also in general exercise is great to get your system pumping, it helps to release endorphins.
Good Luck : )

There is clinical research that show both folic acid and inositol (basically B vitamins) are as effective as medications like Prozac for helping with anxiety, panic, OCD, mania and depression.
These are the ones I suggest because there is recent scientific evidence from clincal double blind trials that prove a measurable result.
You can read about the research and benefits at the links below. Good luck - finding the right thing really helps and it is worth hanging in there :)

Cammomile tea is good for nerves. Lavendar oil rubbed on your temples also works. Another thing is, you can run into the closest toilet and shut the door and do 10 starjumps, that gets rid of nerves : )
