Kind of a weird story but someone I worked with used to collect voodoo dolls. They were mostly humorous ones with different themes, like a golf voodoo doll. When he retired, he left me a voodoo doll. I've never used it but it has areas on the body where you can choose to wish good or evil on someone.

Yes. I purchased it on my honeymoon in New Orleans, 1994.
A wiry black man with dread locks and a straw hat sold it to me. He said he was Chicken man, the Voodoo King of New Orleans. Years later I was watching one of those "20-20" or "Dateline" shows about an unsolved murder and Chicken man's name was mentioned as a person of interest. I think the doll he sold me is still in my garage somewhere.

Not a real one... I had the kind you put in water for 24 hours, and it grows like 5x's it's original size... and it had needles, it was pretty nifty.

My sister and I used to stick pins into each other's effigies, then we graduated to injuring each other directly. Thankfully, we both lived and are now best of friends. :-)
