I had an ambulance ride to the hospital from my home several years ago because I appeared to be having a stroke. Fortunately, it was an abscess deep in my left ear, which was a major relief except for having to miss several workdays. I suppose I would have missed a lot more if it had been a stroke.
I came close in April of this year because we had a housefire and it's routine to call one to the site. The EMTs were concerned about smoke inhalation because I have asthma and reduced lung function, but I refused to let them take me to the ambulance for a checkup since I didn't want to pay for that.

four times when i was little.my first time was when i was 4.i was running and i slipped into the pool and hit my head on the pavement.i was bleeding from my ears alot.i was rushed into the abulance.after a week in the hospital they said it was a miracle that none of my skull was fractures.except i did break my left leg.but it got better after a year.my second time was when i was 11 and i was in 6th grade.i wasen't feeling good so i went to the nurse and i ended up fainting in the office.the cops came and rushed me to the hospitall where i stayed there for a whole night.my 3rd time was when i was 14.i got in a car accident with my friend she was drunk.i insisted i'd drive but she said no and it was her car anyways.and my 4th time was when i was throwing up so much when i was 15 that i was rushed to the emergency room.now that i am 17 i haven't been in the er.i guess i am healthy.

I have been in an ambulance now 3 times. Nearly died when I was 2 years, Car accident and the third was when I was run over by a tractor.

Fell down some stairs and had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. I got billed about $900 for what amounted to a 10-block drive.

I've been put in an ambulance at least twice a year for the last few years.
Extremely low blood pressure...I black out for no reason, and people always freak and call 911.

Yes! I was in a car accident when I was 16 and I was taken to the hospital by ambulance. It was really scary and weird!

I haven't been on one but in one. A gentleman pulled out in front of me and I T-boned him good!! I had to go to the hospital in an ambulance. I got injured from the seat belt!

Cool I was when I was in kindergarten too!!! My school bus wrecked on the way to school and I had to be taken to the hospital for injuries!
that was the last time until my daughter had congestive heart failure and they transferred her form a county hospital to a university hospital for better treatment!

Yes, and its normally in the early morning. Normally general stuff, shortness of breath and chest pain, but then again there are the auto accidents, but then again I'm the one taking care of them so does it still count?
