This is off the Official website - Department of Employment and Industrial Relations: so you know it's true and correct.

The general minimum age is 13 years for children starting work, although children from 11 years of age may perform delivery work including for items such as newspapers and advertising leaflets.

Parental consent is required for school-aged and young children to work. Children are not allowed to work when they should be at school.

Hey ,I aint real sure about child labor laws in your country , but here in the United States you have to be 16 at least. Other than that , I'm sure there aint much out there for you. When I was your age I had a new's paper route but that was years ago.Check the labor laws in your country and take it from there. If your legally old enough to work then submit your res on the internet and see what happens. If your not old enough , stop trying to grow up so fast and just enjoy being a kid. I promise you , there will come a day ( several of them ) that you'll wish you didn't have to go to work. Good luck to you..

you might be able to do a paper run, ie delivering newspapers, but the legal age at least in brisbane is 14 years and 9 months to start working.
so i'm afraid that in toowomba you are probably too young also.
sorry. just wait a few years...then you can get one.
and believe me, i want the same kinda of job as you...kinda hard to find a job like that in brisbane, heh.
good luck anyway. toowomba may not be as strict.

You're only 13 mate, I'm not too sure take-away would hire you. If I was in your shoes, I'd either wash cars or wash dishes. Best luck!
