I have symptoms of pregnancy and also have been spotting since the past 3 days. I have had 2 mis-carriages before in my fifth week, just a few days after I discovered that I was pregnant. I do not want to take any chance this time. How soon can I take a blood test. I havent taken a home test yet. Which among the 2 urine test or blood test will be able to give me the results at the earliest? My ovulation days were between 11 - 13th of September.

A blood test will show if you are pregnant or not 7 days following conception.
A home pregnancy test will show if you are pregnant or not 19 days after the day you had sex if you think you became pregnant.

Take a home pregnancy test first. When is the first day of your missed period? That's when you should take it. If you've had 2 miscarriages then your doctor knows your situation. Give him/her a call and let him/her know how you are feeling, the results of the hpt, and maybe they will bring you in to confirm your pregnant or not and prescribe bed rest or whatever you need so you don't miscarry again.
