Opera is one of common browser other than IE and Firefox,
This is one of the best browser which will resize the page to fix into your lower resolution screen.
(ie Page designed for 1024x768, viewable in full screen in 800x600 screen)
Netscape was once popular, but it had become too bloated with features and would run terribly slow on slower PC.
The other lesser known was Safari which was popular with most Mac users.

There are many other internet browsers besides IE and firefox.
One of the best is Opera (http://www.opera.com)
Netscape (http://www.netscape.net)
Safari (http://www.apple.com/safari/)
These three are one of the mostly used internet browsers.
Surely you can get many other internet browsers too like .
lynx, aol and many other.

There are actually quite a few, Opera and Netscape are Windows compatible, a few others as well. As you expand beyond Windows an extremely wide variety are available.

I prefer and use Opera.Then you alos have safari which is the browser used on Iphones you can download it from apple.com
