The problem here is "s3 pro savage ddr" describes the built-in video on the mainboard, not the mainboard itself.

I assume the motherboard you're referring one that has the VIA chip-set with built-in ProSavage graphics. Without researching this further, it's only necessary that you determine if your board has AGP. Since it is a older board, it will probably be AGP 1x-2x or 4x, so the graphics card will have to be compatible with one or both of these voltage ranges, 3.3v and 1.5v, resp.
Apparently, there are two versions of the 6200 card. One is a bit older and has the NV43 GPU (visually has two-chip GPU design) is NOT compatible with the older 3.3v boards; but the 6200A-based cards use the single NV44 GPU chip and work fine with 3.3v boards. Video cards that are only compatible with 3.3v are easy to recognize as they have only one notch in the trace connector portion that plugs into the board (not including the notch between the connector and the latch hook). Most of these cards have two notches and are compatible with both voltages. You can damage the board and the card if you try to use the wrong card!
You also want to be sure to get the 128 MB, 128-bit card which has superior performance.
