I saw him playing tennis in the park on my way to work and he was so attractive to me that I wanted to stop and introduce myself but I was running late and couldn't. Two weeks later I'm on vacation and decide to walk past the park to see if I see the cute tennis player, I didn't but I ran into an old friend. We hung out for a while and then he suggested we go to his friends house that lived in the neighbourhood. Someone opened the door and there was the tennis player sitting on the couch, true story. We fell in love, got married, and got divorced 8 years later. EDIT The apartment was the tennis players apartment.

Quite a surprise as I wouldn't have thought it was a good way to meet someone but I am sure I wouldn't have met anyone as intriguing as her in my normal everyday life...

I met him at a bar I used to work at, he came in for pool tournaments, but I had actually met him a year prior and didn't even know it, My uncle was friends with him and brought him to my birthday party...
