Yes I also notice that.
Also when I receive an unexpected amount of money, something in my household will break down, requiring more money than I just got. Also when I change lanes, the lane I just left will become faster than the lane I just got into. Same with lines at the grocery. And when I birdie a hole, I will bogey the next three. There’s greener grass, and so on.
I guess these things happen in order to restore the fundamental equilibrium in the universe.

Because of the nasal reaction to the grease or dirt.
