it is good that you gave soda up but it was really just sugar and water and acid. you have to work out in order to loose weight or just eat better...both together work best.

If you're drinking diet pop, you won't lose a thing. Diet pop has 1 or no calories. If, however, you're drinking regular pop, it's loaded with calories because it's loaded with SUGAR!! They are empty calories. No health benefits whatsoever. The opposite, in fact. Read the ingredients on a bottle of pop! A bunch of stuff you can't pronounce! It's not even food.

So if you were drinking 6-10 cans or bottles of pop a day and quit, you should lose some weight, unless you're substituting it with juice. That also has a lot of calories, but they are healthy calories, and should fill you up more. I hope that all made some sense!! Stay off the pop. Drink lots of water!! That's the very best advice you can get. Good luck! :)

You spelled loose right... but you spelled lose wrong. And uh no/yes. Lets say you burn 2000 cal a day.

Previously w/ pop u consumed 3000

You were adding 1000cal in weight on everyday

Now without pop you are consuming 2300 cal a day.

You are still adding 300.

I'm not saying your putting any weight on but this is an example of why it could not work. If you increase exercise or lower cal intake then yes it would work.

upload some easy snacks in there between the nutrients... like a million/2 cup of maderine oranges or a small apple). in case you experience hungry your physique is going into starvation mode and would not drop extra pounds. additionally... while you're gaining muscle it weighs better than fat. you may no longer see # effects, yet you have already got seen the version on your clothing feeling loose. that's what want i struggle by way of, no longer the size as lots. Congrats on making the alternative to get healthful!!

Well you could loose weight by giving up soda, but only if soda previously represented a significant number of your caloric intake. If you are still consuming more calories than you burn then you will not lose weight regardless of what foods you give up..

Not necessarily. Just giving up pop isn't sufficient for losing weight. The only way to truly lose weight is to lose more calories than you take it. Giving up pop will reduce your calorie intake, but that doesn't necessarily mean you are losing more calories than you are taking in.

Its not just soda you need to give up, you need to drink MORE water than you already are.

I know someone who lost ten pounds in one month from stopping all sodas and drinking at least 8 glasses of water.

She also cut out as much fat, cholesterol, and stuff from their eating habits.

No you don't lose weight by giving up soda. You only lose weight when you burn more calories than you take in.
