My Betta food expired 4 years ago. Can I still give it to my Betta?

You could, but it wouldn't have the same nutritional value. Many of the B vitamins (needed for nervous system function) degrade in just a few months.

If you have no other food available, it won't hurt your betta to go a day or two (or even a week) without eating, but it would be better for him to get newer food for the best growth/nutrition. And in the future, don't buy food in containers that will last more than 6 months - that's about the limit of best nutrition un the best of conditions (refrigerated).

No, I wouldn't eat a food that was expired four years ago. Can't you just use 2 bucks of your money for now?

I wouldnt. betta food is already pretty tough to eat and being stale isnt going to help at all. Not to mention it only costs a few dollars to buy fresh so go ahead and spoil him.

I wouldn't. They have these tiny little pellets the size of a pin head or smaller, which help to keep the water from getting dirty and they only cost about $2
