this is especially true if you need that particular tool desperately, and are on a time schedule. If it is a specialty tool, it will find a way to stay hidden until you have torn down and rebuilt the entire garage, or given up on the project altogether and sold it as scrap. Thanks for the humorous question, and glad I'm not the only one it happens to.

funny how boredom gives you lots of ideas =) and eeriely it does. if I am too lazy to pick it up i throw everything down so I'm forced to get on all fours to collect them
