I'm O NEG, I've been pregnant 3 times; I have two kids and one miscarriage. I received the rhogam for my two kids but when I had my miscarriage I didn't; now I'm pregnant and I want to know what would happen to the baby if my body already produced antibodies.

I would suggest asking your Dr. I am also O NEG and I have 3 kids, I had rogam all three times and no complications so I am not sure what would happen in your case, I think they told me that when I was pregnant that if the antibodies were to have already been produced that it could fight off the new baby?? But I would really ask the Dr. and there must be something that they can do if you do have the antibodies in your system. Good luck

You are suppose to get your shot in the middle of your pregnancy I want to say at 20 something wks and after the baby is born. I went through that myself and DIDN'T get a shot after one miscarriage and I have my daughter and I know that shouldn't be a problem.

Your doctor will know when to give u the first shot. I wish I could remember the wk u are suppose to but I know its not in the first few wks so you are ok for now.

I would bring it up immediately with your OB...I want to say you should be okay, but I haven't been through that. I would immagine if it's an issue they can give you a shot early and that would help prevent your immune system from attacking the baby.

Yes, talk to your OB/GYN. You are supposed to have the shot within 72 hours of any miscarriage or live birth.
