My mother is. She helps me in so many ways and is kind, supportive, funny, gentle and feisty.
I had to go on Disability a couple of years ago, and she has been amazingly understanding and helps me more than I want her to.
We've lived together for much of my life, and we get along great. Even before my illnesses became so serious, she made sure that home was a sanctuary at the end of each workday.
Together, we have weathered so much, kept bills paid, made each other eat, even when we didn't want to, and traded off providing support. She's always saying, "We'll make it together, Red!" She's positive about life when I need her to be, giving ME strength to be positive when she needs it. Yes, she has her low moments, too.
"You are the sunshine of my life," Stevie Wonder sings, and she definitely is.

Nobody is my sunshine. In fact, if somebody were my sunshine, I'd stay far away from them, because if I got anywhere near them, I'd be burnt to a crisp.
