Walk out the door so I don't get more angry, stew for a little while and then when cooled off go back.

It's over, no use to keep bringing it up and getting angry all over again, I don't like to sweat the small stuff, it's not worth wasting my time or breath, it doesn't help the relationship and most of the time a "tiff" isn't very important anyway!

If it Is that important to me, what I got angry about, then I have to rethink my priorities and if the relationship is worth it.

Take about 10 minutes or so to be alone then I forget about what made me angry in the first place. I am hard to get angry but forget about it quickly.

If I am really angry I go to the gym and work out. But because I am from a small town the gym isn't always open so my second choice is playing my favorite song and singing it at as loud as I can.

I have to be alone. When I am angry I think about things that don't really bother me, but when I am mad they piss me off even more. I also become very blunt. So I stay away from people if I can help it. But I also try not to stay in a bad mood.

Low key anger will get me talking until my point is understood. Maybe it won't change anything, but I feel the need to express myself. Medium anger usually is accompanied by hurt feelings so I will hide and cry, then talk!
High level anger is very infrequent for me but is usually a physical outlet- throw something, punch you out, call the police. That high level thing has happened about 4 times in 45 years so I am not worried about it!

It depends on the who, what and why. If it is a situation that I need to deal with I try to do it calmly. But if I have steam coming out of my ears I go outside and have a Diet Pepsi to chill out. I get very quiet for a couple of hours. I don't make a scene or try to out yell a person. I take care of my immediate emotions and try not to escalate the anger. Best of luck to you!!

I have an 'angry cry' where I get it out. (alone) and then I feel LOADS better. I also try to talk to someone close (family) and that seems to help me figure things out and calm down.
