How does one "move on" after years of thinking that they had found the one that was right for them? Just try and forget all that ever happened? Eat a bullet? How do you get this person out of your head? To just live one day without thinking of them.....? Is it even possable?

yes it is possible. It took me several years to finally wake up stop being bitter and start living life again. You are only hurting yourself by not enjoying your life. There are good people out there it just takes time to find the right one.

Yeah, yeah...most of your friends are probably telling you to man up and grow some stones, right? And you feel like eating worms. It's really hard. There is no quick fix; it's like losing weight. There's no miracle cure. But there's one thing you can do to ease the pain a bit: Get yourself into a different mindset. Realize that you're a unique individual and that you have qualities about you that are your own. Maybe you made a mistake and lost the person or they just left you for no good reason but there's nothing you can do about it. If they're gone, they're gone and missing them isn't going to make them come back. Try and get your mind focused on other things: work, play, hobbies. When you find yourself thinking of that wonderful person who put your heart into cold storage, realize that you will get over this. "This too, shall pass." Think of all the heartbreak you've experienced and the times you thought you'd never get over them. You found happiness again, right? You will again, too.

I no its very hard to do, but you will get through thi, believe me I no, I have been there. With time alot of things will change, you can't just forget someone after being with them so long. Its kinda a feeling like someone in your life has died, doesn't it. You go through alot of the same things, hurt, mad sad, afeeling of loss. I can go on and on..Try to keep busy with friends, work, go out and have some fun. And someday that special person will be in your life. Take-Care, Portique Beth
