Yes, I did the same work as a CNA when I was between 10 and 12. I got $7 a week allowance. When I was 12 I started using the time-clock and got minimum pay. Mmm

Both. I had jobs off and on during high school, but I also got an allowance for helping around the house, cleaning and doing jobs for my dad, etc. My parents didn't really buy me anything though, I was expected to use my allowance or work money.

I worked as a babysitter starting at age 9, then when I was old enough I started working different jobs in the restaurant on up through most of my teen years. Other jobs in between were at a state park store and concession stand.

I do get allowence but I worked quite a lot just for the experience. I did telemarketing, customer service, clerk, delivery service and worked at fast food restaurants.... it sucked. but im glad i did it for some reason.
