Our first car was "The Squirrel" because we were sure it ran on nuts!
My first BIG car was "Rod."
My first NEW car (a Toyota Tercel s/w) was "The Icemaker"... because my father saw the hatchback configuration, and the place where the license plate was looked to him like a refridgerator/freezer's in-door ice/water dispenser. So he said, "Looks like an icemaker... where does the ice come out?" From that point on, it was dubbed The Icemaker.
My vehicles now... no names... only prayers that they don't break down on us.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion.

I usually refer to it as Big Boy...it doubles as a name and a verb. Because if a small car starts to pull out in front of my big truck I hit the accelerator and yell "YOU'RE ABOUT TO GET BIG BOYED." I also "Big Boy" orange cones when I get the chance. It's fun to squish them.
